Best pastrami North of Manhattan. Many dishes you cannot find even in Monsey. I just don't understand why the Kosher deli's serve Pastrami on a baguette instead of Rue bread. They have a dish called Overnight Cholent that was pretty good. Service is super rushed and most staff can not explain the food to you. The manager at the register will. The restaurant itself is definitely divey. 99.9 percent of customers are young orthodox and Hasidic. It's like the fast food places/diners when we were young and all the boys chilled there. I would feel comfortable bringing a female there though. But never saw any disrespect. You can order online or at a kiosk inside

You know when you are hankering for your favorite Hungarian dishes and you require high sodium items at 11pm? Well nussys has you covered. Amazing. I remember my South African grandma making Kasha varnishkas and then I asked her how she knew about a Hungarian dish and then she finally admitted my relatives took a journey from Hungary to Germany then took a boat to South Africa before the Boer War. Anyways that's a long way to go for biltong:) If you have a hankering for meat cholent I e stew with barley then this is also the right place. Probably they have 5 different chopped livers. If you tell them to put more pastrami in your pastrami sandwhich they can make it happen for you. To satisfy your late night cravings and to understand hasidic quisine please understand that they are open till 4 am on Friday morning should you not be able to make up your mind earlier

I say this with complete honesty: Nussy's serves the best Thursday night cholent and Yaptchik in the greater Monsey area. His deli sandwiches are top notch, and he carries a wide assortment of prepared takeout dishes. Nussy is also warm and welcoming, really takes pride in his craft and values customer satisfaction. There are a number of similar stores in Monsey, but Nussy's gets my business every time.
